Due to technical issues with the film print SENTIMENTAL VALUE scheduled to screen on January 19, all three screenings 1pm, 4pm and 7pm were cancelled.

Staff are working on getting this presentation rescheduled. Please keep your tickets and ticket stubs. The Gallery Night at the Movies will honour these tickets/receipts for the rescheduled presentation, a voucher for another presentation, or a donation receipt.

In Sentimental Value, Joachim Trier returns with a poignant, darkly comic portrait of fractured family ties and artistic ambition. A fading film director (Stellan Skarsgård) disrupts the lives of his estranged daughters when he returns to their childhood home with plans to shoot a deeply personal biopic. As old wounds resurface, Nora (Renate Reinsve), a celebrated actress battling anxiety, and Agnes, a steady but scarred mother, must confront the legacy of abandonment, art, and emotional manipulation. An intimate, moving, and often funny film about family, time, and how we sometimes need to rewrite the stories we tell about ourselves in order to survive. R 132 minutes
