June 30 DRONE SHOW at Kelso Beach at Nawash Park + Canada Day - July 1 Celebrations
🎉 Gates open at 1 PM for a full day of FREE family fun at Kelso Beach at Nawash Park! Enjoy interactive activities, local vendors, delicious food trucks, live entertainment, and so much more. ☀️🍔🎨
🎶 Head to the amphitheatre at 8:30 PM as the Mike McCarthy Band brings the energy with an unforgettable live performance.
✨ Then gather around the Kelso Beach ball diamond perimeter for a historic moment as Owen Sound lights up the night sky with its very first DRONE SHOW — a spectacular experience you won’t want to miss that starts at 10 pm
Viewing Area: The Drone Show is best viewed on site at Kelso Beach. We urge you to park and walk into the park from either; Keystone Child Youth and Family Services (across from Kelso), The West Side boat launch and walk across the foot bridge into the park or adjacent streets where parking is allowed.
A viewing area will be set up on the ball diamond at Kelso Beach which is beside the soccer field where the drone show will be held. Please bring a lawn chair.

Celebrate Canada Day with an unforgettable day of FREE family fun as the City of Owen Sound hosts a full-day waterfront extravaganza! 🇨🇦☀️
Gates open at 10 AM with something for everyone — exciting children’s activities, adorable dog shows, pony rides, live entertainment, music, delicious eats, and festive fun all day long along the beautiful harbourfront.
🎶 Make your way to the amphitheatre at 7 PM for the Opening Ceremony followed by an incredible night of live music from The Eh Team featuring Tara Mackenzie, Trevor Mackenzie, John Hume, Jaret Koop, Holly Sled, Ken Kelly, Drew Wright, and Mike Weir.
🎆 Then cap off the celebration at 10 PM as the night sky over the harbour comes alive with a spectacular fireworks show you won’t want to miss!

Vendor Applications - CLOSED for 2026
All vendors are required to carry $2 million public liability and property damage insurance, naming the City of Owen Sound as an additional insured. You may upload your own insurance through this registration form, or we can provide you with a link to our partner to purchase insurance. You will not be able to attend without complete insurance. Please make sure the event date and name are on the insurance document. We will not accept general insurance policies.
This form is specific to vendors at City-run events.
ALL vendors selling FOOD or DRINKS in the City must register with Grey Bruce Public Health, and food trucks must carry up-to-date TSSA certificates.
INSURANCE: Every vendor requires an insurance certificate for a minimum of $2 Million Liability, listing exactly "The Corporation of the City of Owen Sound" as additionally insured, and the Date/Location of the event.
Tents, tables, and chairs are not provided by the City of Owen Sound; you must make your own arrangements.

Canada Day in Owen Sound is a free, family‑friendly celebration held on July 1st at Kelso Beach at Nawash Park that brings the community together to honour Canada’s birthday with a full day of activities, entertainment and festivities.
Starting (gates open) at 10 a.m., the celebration features children’s activities, pony rides, dog shows throughout the day, big water canoe rides, games, music and entertainers, plus food trucks, marketplace vendors, and community booths for people of all ages to enjoy. In the evening, there’s usually a main stage concert with local performers and speakers, concluding with a spectacular fireworks display over the Owen Sound harbour around 10 p.m. to cap off the day.
It’s a festive, outdoor celebration that’s become a highlight of the summer in Owen Sound—perfect for families, friends and visitors to enjoy food, music, activities and community spirit while celebrating Canada’s national holiday.
