The City of Owen Sound is continuing its commitment to maintaining safe, reliable, and high-quality municipal services through ongoing work led by our Public Works team.
As families make summer plans and look forward to the 2026 Summerfolk and Salmon Derby events, nearby campsites at Kelso Beach Family Campground can start being booked beginning Friday, May 1 (9 a.m.) at OwenSound.ca/Campgrounds.
The 2026 Grey Bruce Home and Lifestyle Show will be held at the Harry Lumley Bayshore Community Centre and JD McArthur Arena on Saturday, May 2 and Sunday, May 3, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
The show continues to be a collaborative partnership between the City of Owen Sound, the Knights of Columbus, and the Grey Bruce Home Builders Association raising funds for both organizations to support community projects.
Attendees can enjoy contests and giveaways from exhibitors, discover new product launches, and take advantage of exclusive show specials on a wide range of products and services. The event also features family-friendly activities like seed planting for kids, along with displays of tropical plants, native gardening ideas, and spring blooms. Explore innovations in hybrid commuter bikes, shower kits, eco-friendly household products, and a variety of health and wellness offerings, including cosmetics and nutritional products.
The City of Owen Sound is proud to present the free, in-person event Owen Sound Innovates: Celebrating #CIW26 in the Scenic City on Tuesday, May 12 at 5:30 p.m. at Sydenham Campus.
