New ‘Gather in Grey’ Video Shines a Spotlight on Owen Sound’s Culinary Scene

The latest video in Grey County’s Gather in Grey campaign is now live, highlighting some of the rich, diverse and delicious culinary offerings of Owen Sound. Titled ‘Gather in Owen Sound,’ the feature is part of a region-wide storytelling series hosted by internationally acclaimed chef and artist Roger Mooking, Grey County’s first Culinary Ambassador.

The video invites viewers to experience different flavours in Owen Sound through brief interviews and taste tests at five local restaurants, including The Milk Maid and Fresh Roots Café in the River District, The European Bakery Café, The Launch, and Minh’s. From fresh, seasonal ingredients to global flavours and local favourites, the video celebrates the passion and creativity behind each dish and encourages all to visit a local restaurant, shop local ingredients, and rediscover the incredible tastes right here in Owen Sound.

The Gather campaign is a multi-year initiative by Grey County to highlight food and agri-business operators across the region, aiming to boost local tourism, promote the region’s rich agricultural heritage, and foster economic growth.
