AED SaveStations
Public-Access AED SaveStations
The City of Owen Sound has three outdoor, public-access Automated External Defibrillator (AED) SaveStations, helping make these popular public locations cardiac safe and better equipped to respond to a cardiac emergency.
Thanks to the generosity of the Tyson Downs Association (TDBeAT), with support from the Owen Sound Attack, AED SaveStations are available at City Hall, Kelso Beach at Nawash Park and Harrison Park.
The outdoor SaveStation cabinets provide 24/7 access to life-saving AED equipment. They are designed for all-weather conditions and are monitored 24/7 through cellular technology.

About AEDs
An Automated External Defibrillator (AED) is a portable device that can be used to help someone experiencing sudden cardiac arrest.
Approximately 60,000 cardiac arrests occur outside hospitals in Canada each year. Immediate CPR and access to an AED can significantly improve a person's chance of survival.
In an emergency, call 911.
About TDBeAT
The Tyson Downs Association's TDBeAT program provides free CPR and AED awareness training and education to youth aged 16 to 21, helping equip the next generation with the skills and confidence to respond in critical situations.
The program honours the legacy of Tyson Downs, whose sudden passing inspired his family and friends to take action. Guided by Tyson's words, "You don't need to be the best, you just need to give your best," TDBeAT continues to empower others to learn life-saving skills and make a difference when it matters most.
