Municipal 511 is the tool the City of Owen Sound uses to keep residents and visitors up to date on local construction and road closure information.

Road construction and closures can take place for a variety of reasons. The Municipal 511 tool displays all work being done on our City roads at this moment in time. This work can include City projects (such as resurfacing or underground infrastructure work), utility work being completed by non-City organizations, road closures due to construction, etc.

The City of Owen Sound Public Works is responsible for maintenance services for all roads and municipally owned sidewalks within the City, as well as:

• Normal Maintenance
• Winter Maintenance
• Street Occupation Permits
• Seasonal Load Restrictions
