Owen Sound Billy Bishop Regional Airport |
The Owen Sound Billy Bishop Regional Airport is owned and operated by the City of Owen Sound and provides Grey and Bruce counties with one of the vital links that connect people and business to a constantly increasing global economy. The airport is located about 5km east of Owen Sound on Highway 26. The airport complex occupies approximately 263 acres and serves as a base for an air charter service, sightseeing flights, aircraft maintenance facility and dozens of privately owned aircraft. Guelph Owen Sound Transportation 'GOST' is the City's transportation service funded by the Ministry of Transportation. The bus runs daily, seven days a week including statutory holidays (excluding Christmas Day) from the Owen Sound Transit Terminal to the Guelph Transit Terminal with stops in between in Chatsworth, Williamsford, Durham, Mount Forest, Arthur, Fergus and Elora.
