Canada Day - Tuesday, July 1

On Tuesday July 1st, the City of Owen Sound is throwing a FREE Canada Day extravaganza for the whole family at Kelso Beach at Nawash Park.

Prepare for a day packed with delightful children's activities, dog show, pony rides, music, and entertainment that will open to all.

The Big Canoe Tours (free)

The Big Canoe Project is a non-for profit organization whose mission is to explore, protect, and share the shores of Georgian Bay.

Big Canoe adventures will take place from 12 to 5 pm. Leaving from the shore (beach) behind the pavilion the Big Canoe will offer visitors a chance to paddle in the BIG CANOE and take a 20 minute tour of the shoreline.

Life jackets are provided and a waiver will be available at the shore before departure.

Four Paws Flying Dog Show

Shows will take place at 1pm, 3pm and 5pm near the Splash Pad.

Canada Day (Tuesday, July 1)

This is a huge celebration taking place along the waterfront in beautiful Owen Sound, at Kelso Beach at Nawash Park and harbourfront area.

Tuesday, July 1 ~ 10 am-10 p.m. at Kelso Beach at Nawash Park:
Canada Day Celebrations will be held at Kelso Beach at Nawash Park, entertainment food and craft vendors, cultural celebrations and organizations, EMS touch a truck, pony rides, dog show and activities for kids with fireworks to end the day.
