GOST Bus Service Disruptions
Due to current weather conditions, the GOST bus service may experience delays or disruptions.

Canada Post Strike
Canada Post workers began strike action on November 15, 2024, leading to delays in service.
As a result, residents may experience significant delays in receiving their water bill in the mail. Please note that the payment due date remains the same, regardless of if the bill is received in the mail.
Sign up for e-billing here to ensure you receive water (and tax) bills through email, and review payment options here. The City of Owen Sound is requesting that residents DO NOT send payment through the mail during the postal strike.

Owen Sound City Council has approved the 2023 Budget, which includes one of the lowest tax levy increases in more than 12 years, with a proposed total municipal levy increase of 0.86%, or $36.38 per year for the average home in Owen Sound. Council and staff have focused on continuing to pursue internal efficiencies to achieve savings of more than $720,000 and present a fiscally responsible budget for 2023.
Online registration for youth summer programs in Owen Sound will open Wednesday, March 1, 2023.
