Green Bin Delivery Has Started

Owen Sound's Green Bin program collection begins in June of 2025, and green bins have started to arrive at eligible households.

Bins are being delivered by a third party contractor to the bottom of your driveway.

You do not need to be present to get your bin. If you are away for an extended time, have a friend or neighbour set it aside for you.

Zoning By-law

The Zoning By-law manages the land use within the City by indicating:

  1. how land can be used; and
  2. the required standards for that use.

These standards include lot size and dimensions, setbacks from property lines, building location, building type, and parking requirements.
