Voting for all eligible voters in the City of Owen Sound is available 24 hours per day during the voting period- October 16-26.

September 24, 2026: The advisory, first issued by GBPH on Aug. 27, 2026, remains in place as water-sampling results continue to show bacterial levels exceeding Ontario Ministry of Health standards for swimming/bathing.

Rural areas have found it more challenging to attract enough doctors to meet patient needs. Owen Sound continues to look for support to attract and retain Family Physicians to the area while also leveraging relationships with neighbouring municipalities.
