Road Closure to Occur this Saturday for Royal Canadian Legion Spring Convention Parade

On Saturday, April 13, a parade will take place as part of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch No. 6 District C Spring Convention.  

Beginning at 11:30 a.m., Owen Sound Police Service will escort the parade procession from the Marine & Rail Museum at 1155 1st Ave West and continue South to the Cenotaph at 815 1st Ave West, where a short ceremony will immediately follow.  

The 800 block of 1st Avenue West will be fully closed to vehicular traffic between 11 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. Drivers can expect delays when travelling through the area of the parade and ceremony; all road users are reminded to please stay alert and use caution.
