Canada Post Strike Potential Impacts on Payments

Due to the Canada Post labour disruption, the City of Owen Sound is advising property owners to consider alternate payment arrangements for water/wastewater bills to avoid penalties and/or late charges. 

To verify whether a mailed payment has been received and posted, property owners can log into Virtual City Hall or contact City Hall directly 519-376-1440

Public Notice: November River District Board of Management Meeting Rescheduled

October 15, 2025

Please be advised that the River District Board of Management meeting scheduled for Wednesday, November 12 has been rescheduled to Wednesday, November 26, 2025 at 5:30 p.m. in the Council Chambers at City Hall. 

The meeting agenda will be available for review prior to the meeting on the Council and Committees page on the City’s website. The meeting will be open to the public and will be livestreamed on the City’s website.
