Notice of Public Meeting for Owen Sound River District 2026 Budget

Please be advised that the River District Board of Management (RDBM) intends to hold a Public Meeting respecting the 2026 River District budget.

Public Meeting:

The public meeting will take place during the regular RDBM meeting as follows:

Date:       Wednesday, November 26, 2025
Time:       5:30 p.m.
Location: City Hall, Council Chambers
                808 2nd Avenue East
                Owen Sound, ON N4K 2H4

The meeting can be viewed live on the City’s Council and Committees webpage.

Public Comments:

Oral and written comments will be considered at the Public Meeting. Written comments will be accepted until 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday, November 26, 2025, and may be submitted to Staci Landry, Deputy Clerk as follows:

Written comments received by November 20, 2025 will appear on the RDBM Meeting agenda which will be available for review on November 21, 2025 on the Council and Committees webpage.

At its meeting on September 10, 2025, the RDBM considered the following staff report and approved a 3.25% budgetary increase for the draft 2026 operating budget to be presented to the River District Business Improvement Area membership.
