Traffic Alert: Lane Reduction on 3rd Avenue West

The City of Owen Sound will be reducing lanes between 23rd Street West and 24th Street West on 3rd Avenue West on Tuesday, July 22, 2025, at 6:30AM.  This closure is needed for the installation of a set of sanitary sewer and water services and is expected to reopen by the end of the day on Wednesday, July 23, 2025. 

 

Lane restrictions will be signed and may include one-way-at-a-time traffic flow.  Please allow for additional travel time and consider alternate routes where possible. To ensure the continued safety of all roadway users, all road users are reminded to remain alert and use caution when travelling through the area.  

 

The City of Owen Sound is dedicated to providing information to ensure that residents of affected areas are well-informed about interruptions.
