Toronto Triumph Club Spring Fling Brings Car Show and Downtown Road Closure This Saturday
The City of Owen Sound is notifying our residents and visitors of a temporary road closure in support of a community event taking place in the River District this weekend.
The 800 block of 2nd Avenue East will be closed to all vehicular traffic on Saturday, June 6, from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. to accommodate the Toronto Triumph Club’s Annual Spring Fling Car Show. Motorists are asked to use alternate routes through the downtown core during this time and are reminded to exercise caution in the area.
The public car show will take place from 3:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m., showcasing a variety of classic Triumph vehicles.
The Toronto Triumph Club, established in October 1982, is a community of enthusiasts dedicated to preserving and driving the Triumph automobile marque.
This annual event is hosted in a different location each year and includes a series of club activities taking place throughout the weekend in Owen Sound. Visitors are encouraged to keep an eye out for participating vehicles across the city.
The City of Owen Sound supports community events that bring vibrancy to the River District while ensuring the public remains informed about service disruptions.
