City Invites Community Organizations to Election Information Session
As preparations continue for the 2026 Municipal and School Board Election, the City of Owen Sound is inviting local community organizations and service providers to attend an information session designed to help residents access the information they need to vote.
The session will take place on Monday, September 21, 2026, at 9:30 a.m. in the Council Chambers at Owen Sound City Hall.
Hosted by the City's Election Team, the session will provide an overview of the voting process, key election dates, and answers to frequently asked questions. The goal is to equip community organizations with the information needed to support clients, members, and residents, as they prepare to cast their ballots in the Municipal and School Board Election from October 16 through 8 p.m. October 26, 2026.
Organizations are encouraged to send one or two representatives to attend the session. Participants will have an opportunity to ask questions and learn about resources available to support voter education and engagement efforts throughout the community.
Those interested in attending are asked to RSVP before September 16, 2026 by contacting the Election Team at elections@owensound.ca or 519-370-7350.
