The City of Owen Sound Releases Line-Up for Live Summer Music 

Owen Sound is more than ready to soak up summer vibes! The City’s events team is bringing back multiple fan-favourite FREE live music series all summer long! 

The 27th year of TD Harbour Nights kicks off this Sunday, June 1, at 7 p.m. with The Vaudevillian leading the charge.  The weekly series will also include performances by Horseshoes and Hand Grenades, Souvenirs-A Tribute to John Prine, The Mike McCarthy Band, Paige Warner, Mackenzie Blues Band, Maggie’s Wake, Cara Smith, The O’Deadlys, Suzie Vinnick and Bradley Hale. All performances take place at 1155 1st Ave West, Owen Sound, adjacent to the City’s beautiful inner harbour at 7 p.m., with an additional 4 p.m. performance on the final Sunday, August 10. Attendees are reminded to bring lawn chairs!

Those who can’t catch live music on Sunday evenings can check out Mid Week Music.  This series runs on Wednesdays starting June 18 at 4:30 p.m., with Ryan Knight playing an epic kickoff at Harrison Park Island. Throughout the summer, Mid Week Music will occur in various accessible locations in Owen Sound.  Musicians include Rock the Sound Choir, Kailey Jane Hawkins, Rob Elder, Mid Life Crisis, Grey Road 1, Drew McIvor, John Hume and Jon Zaslow, Ain’t She Sweet, Emily Power and Rick Fairburn, plus 2 nights dedicated to local and talented Youth Musicians. The series runs until September 10.  Check the website for location details and updates.

Rain or shine, TD Harbour Nights and Mid Week Music will go on — guests are encouraged to come early and snag the best spot! Seating is first-come, first-served.
