Owen Sound Seeking Volunteers for City Committees

Owen Sound residents interested in helping shape the decisions affecting their City are encouraged to consider volunteering as a member of a City Committee.

The City of Owen Sound considers volunteers to be one of its most valued community resources. City Council invites persons wishing to serve as a member of a committee to submit an application to the Deputy Clerk. Application forms are due by Friday, November 7 and are available on the City’s website at OwenSound.ca/CommitteeVacancies or at the Service Owen Sound counter in City Hall.

The following is a list of committee vacancies:

Community Services Committee	1 1	Feb. 1, 2026 – Jan. 31, 2028 Feb. 1, 2026- Jan. 31, 2029
Corporate Services Committee	2 2	Feb. 1, 2026 – Jan. 31, 2028 Feb. 1, 2026 – Jan. 31, 2029
Operations Committee	2	Feb. 1, 2026 – Jan. 31, 2029
Tom Thomson Art Gallery Advisory Committee	2	Feb. 1, 2026 – Jan. 31, 2029

Meeting dates:

Community Services Committee: 3rd Wednesday of each month at 5:30 pm

Corporate Services Committee: 2nd Thursday of each month at 5:30 pm

Operations Committee: 3rd Thursday of each month at 5:30 pm

Tom Thomson Art Gallery Advisory Committee: 1st Wednesday quarterly at 2:00 pm
