City Seeks Sunday Free Skating Sponsors

The City of Owen Sound is inviting local businesses and community organizations to sponsor Free Sunday Family Skating at the Julie McArthur Regional Recreation Centre this fall and winter.

From September 21, 2025, to March 29, 2026, families will have the chance to enjoy Sponsored Free Public Skating on Sunday afternoons from 2:30 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. (excluding October 26, November 16, and December 14, 2025, as well as February 15 and March 22, 2026).

For just $240 + HST per session, sponsors can support a fun, healthy, and family-friendly activity and show your community spirit and get your name out there.

Sponsorship Benefits Include:

• Your name and logo on the City’s website, events calendar, and social media
• A spot on the digital screen at City Hall
• A shoutout on the Bayshore Broadcasting website

Quick Facts:

• The City operates three NHL-sized arenas and ice surfaces.
• Approximately 7500 hours of ice time are booked each winter season between the three ice pads.
