City Ends Significant Weather Event 

In accordance with the Provincial Minimum Maintenance Standards, the City of Owen Sound is declaring an end to the Significant Weather Event that was issued on December 31, 2025 and extended on January 5th, 2026.  

The City extends gratitude to all residents for their patience and cooperation during this most recent snowstorm.  Special thanks to the dedicated City staff team whose hard work in clearing roads and sidewalks was vital in keeping our community as safe and accessible as possible.
