Freedom Trail

The City of Owen Sound is pleased to present its latest heritage initiatives – the Interpretive Plaque Program and the Heritage Register in special online editions!

The Heritage Register is an extensive database of historically or architecturally significant buildings in Owen Sound. For each property in the inventory there is a description of the site, as well as photos of the building both past and present.

The Interpretive Plaque Program feature will take viewers on a tour of the Interpretive Plaques in Owen Sound. All of the 31 plaques in the program are available for guests to view and read. The tour also includes site photos and the history of the program and each individual plaque.
