There is limited accessible parking on-site at Harrison Park for those with a valid accessible parking permit. Otherwise, there is no public parking at the Park. Visitors are urged to use transit, shuttle pick-up locations or walk to the site.

Ference is the Director of Social Impact, growth and Fan Development with the NHL and will lead a discussion around grass-roots growth and community development around the game of Hockey. Andrew Ference will host a panel on hockey’s benefits with some local youth. A great way for families to start the day! The Stanley Cup will be at the event and a photographer will be there to make sure you get a great picture with the Stanley Cup. The series is called “Hockey Writing in Canada: Grey Bruce Connections” Tuesday January 17th @ 7 pm in the library auditorium Jonathan Jackson Author Jonathon Jackson will visit the Library to talk about researching and writing his book,"The Making of Slap Shot: Behind the Scenes of the Greatest Hockey Movie Ever Made". Join us for this insightful presentation about hockey and writing. Wednesday January 18th @ 3 pm via zoom Terry Koshan Terry Koshan's sports columns can be found in the Toronto Sun and many other newspapers across North America. Join us on zoom as we chat about 21st century journalism, hockey, writing and more. Zoom link is in the newsletter link on our library website above. Friday January 20th @ 3 pm via zoom Eric Zweig & Paul White Authors Paul White and Eric Zweig talk about hockey, research, writing nonfiction and more. Our talk last year with Eric and Paul was warmly received and we are delighted that they have agreed to return this year. Zoom link is in the newsletter link on our library website above. Saturday January 21st @ 3 pm via zoom Tracey Richardson & Rob Ritchie Authors Tracey Richardson and Rob Ritchie join us for the last of our four Hockey Writing in Canada author visits. We will discuss Tracey's novel, "Delay of Game" and Rob's novel "Orphans of Winter" and chat about hockey, research and fiction writing.

Scotiabank Hockey Day in Canada is heading to Owen Sound, ON on January 21, 2023
Ron MacLean will host the festivities live from Owen Sound throughout the day-long national broadcast, featuring all seven Canadian NHL teams in action. Festivities will begin in Owen Sound on January 18, featuring grassroots hockey events featuring NHL alumni and the Stanley Cup, and an outdoor hockey festival.
