Co-op Placements at Billy Bishop Home & Museum |
We LOVE to work with energetic and inspired students who share our passion for the history of Billy Bishop, Canadian military history, and life in Victorian times - you may even have a few ideas of your own! If you are a high-school student thinking about a career in museums, history, arts, education, anthropology, archaeology, teaching or business, think about us. Better yet, come by and talk to us. We believe in adapting your placement to your needs - whether that's exploring everything or a very specific career goal. |
College or University Interships |
Students currently attending Museum Studies, Curatorial, Social work (Youth), and Business programs, consider us for your placement. We're a small house museum, with a small staff working on a National Historic Site-scale. This means your voice and input are valuable to us and play a vital role in the development. We would be happy to speak with you and your program coordinator to create a customized placement that helps you achieve your goals for the career you want to pursue. Already have a vision for a program, an event, or implementing a new technology? We'd love to hear from you, and then help you make that vision a reality. |
