The Municipal Elections Act has certain requirements respecting financial reporting:
- all candidates must file a financial statement;
- all candidates whose campaign contributions and total expenses are more than $10,000 must also file an auditor's report; and
- the Clerk must make these documents available for viewing by the public on a website or another electronic format.
