Georgian College

Georgian College Owen Sound Campus

At the Owen Sound Campus of Georgian College you can accelerate your learning, your career and your future.

With a wide variety of full- and part-time programs, in areas such as business, culinary, health and wellness, marine technology, policing and skilled trades, the campus is the perfect place to train for your future career. Let us help accelerate your success!

The campus is home to the internationally renowned Great Lakes International Marine Training and Research Centre. This is the heart of hands-on learning for students in Georgian’s Marine Engineering Technician, Marine Technology – Navigation and Marine Engineering Management programs.

The centre underwent an $8-million renovation in 2008. Since then, students have had the latest technology at their fingertips with four navigational training bridges and an engine room simulator, all designed to simulate real-life marine scenarios.

Efforts are currently underway to secure funding for a modern, fully equipped Marine Emergency Duties Training Centre at the Owen Sound Campus. This 13,600-square-foot centre would provide everything needed by marine cadets and professionals from across Canada to meet mandatory training requirements.

Other notable campus features include an Aboriginal Resource Centre, Bear Essentials store, high-fidelity nursing simulation lab, skilled trades labs and a videoconferencing classroom. Students who want to keep in shape will love our gymnasium and recently renovated fitness centre featuring modern cardio and weight equipment and a stretching room. Campus dining facilities include our new cafeteria, The Georgian Dining Room and The Last Class.

A student residence is located right beside the campus, offering everything students need to make their college experience enjoyable and safe.
