The Hottest Street Sale returns to the River District

The Hottest Street Sale returns to the Owen Sound River District on Saturday, July 9, 2022. 

This will be the 32nd annual Hottest Street Sale. The event will take place along 2nd Avenue East between 7th Street East and 11th Street East in Owen Sound. 2nd Avenue East will be closed to vehicular traffic starting at 5 a.m. on July 9, as well as the intersection at 2nd Avenue East and 9th Street East. All municipal parking lots will remain accessible and open during the event. Street parking will also be available on streets where normally permitted, outside the event boundaries. 

The event will run between the hours of 8 a.m. and 3 p.m. and include over 200 places to shop, eat and enjoy music. This family friendly event will feature a Summerfolk stage at the Grey Gallery Garden with live music from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. There will be other musical locations brought to you by Georgian Bay Woodworking, CTRE Productions and Bayshore Broadcasting. The Owen Sound & District Chamber of Commerce will also host a community stage on the front steps of City Hall starting at 9:30 a.m. with demonstrations and performances from local groups.
