Mask Mandate Lifting for Public Transit

The Province of Ontario is lifting the mandate that required wearing masks on Owen Sound Transit and Guelph Owen Sound Transportation (GOST) as of 12:00 a.m. on Saturday, June 11, 2022. 

The masking requirement, previously set to expire on April 27, was extended earlier this year until June 11 for certain healthcare settings and public transit. 

We appreciate riders of Owen Sound Transit and GOST wearing masks throughout the COVID-19 pandemic. Individuals who wish to continue to wear masks on public transit are welcome to do so.
