City of Owen Sound mourns the passing of former City Councillor Bill Twaddle

Former City Councillor, Bill Twaddle passed away on Monday, August 1, 2022.

“On behalf of my Council colleagues, staff and the residents of the city, I offer my condolences to his family members and friends,” said Mayor Ian Boddy. 

Mr. Twaddle served as a City Councillor from 1996 - 2014. He served the community by being dedicated to navigating complex issues and looked for opportunities to find solutions.

Flags will be lowered to half-mast on August 4 at City Hall in his honour.
