Media Release
Thursday, March 9, 2017

On Sunday, March 12 daylight savings time starts. Change the clock – check the power!
This is a great time to make sure that your home has working smoke alarms and conduct a fire
drill. When you change your clocks make sure that all of your smoke alarms and carbon
monoxide (CO) alarms are working. Replace the batteries in smoke and CO alarms. If your
smoke or CO alarms are not battery operated, test them to make sure they will work. Replace any
