You are here

Owen Sound is centrally located in the heart of Grey Bruce at the southern tip of the Bruce Peninsula, only a short drive from the clear, refreshing waters of Sauble Beach and nearby Wiarton (home of Wiarton Willie, Canada’s most famous groundhog). An hour’s drive north will take you to Tobermory, where you can catch the Chi-Cheemaun ferry to Manitoulin Island.  Heading east along the Georgian Bay shoreline, you’ll find Meaford, Thornbury, Collingwood and the Blue Mountain resort. All major roads lead back to Owen Sound.
