Harrison Park Winter in Owen Sound

The Scenic City offers many opportunities for relaxing and rejuvinating -- winter, spring, summer and fall! Whether you are staying a few days or a lifetime, you'll find many sources of inspiration.

Outdoor recreation: Hike, ski or snowshoe our all-season trails, discover a new waterfall, hit the beach in summer or a skating rink in winter, paddle the waterways of Owen Sound, take the Salmon Tour in fall. Fishing and snowmobiling are also popular here. The City is home to numerous parks, most famously Harrison Park, site of a bird sanctuary, Black History Cairn, paddling, trails, swimming and camping.

Culture: A former Cultural Capital of Canada, Owen Sound has rich cultural traditions and a thriving music, theatre and arts scene with several performing arts venues. Visit Grey Roots Museum & Archives, Bishop House, the Tom Thomson Art Gallery, the Artists' Co-op, the Roxy Theatre, our weekly farmer's market or the Community Waterfront Heritage Centre. Check out our events calendar to learn what's happening right now!
