Tom Thomson Art Gallery is hosting ‘Owen Sound’s Reel Festival’ February 25-26, 2012 at the Roxy Theatre.
The 13^th Annual Polar Bear Dip is March 17, 2012 at the Harry Lumley Bayshore Community Centre.
Four business licence applications were approved: 1) Taj Indian Restaurant – 994 2^nd Avenue East. 2) H2O Lounge – 937 2^nd Avenue East. 3) The Wood Pro – 1640 7^th Avenue East. 4) Pioneer Planning Solutions– 735 2^nd Street ‘A’ East.
The 2012 City Budget was approved as presented.
Council directed staff to advise Moe Zadeh that upon meeting the required conditions of site plan approval, should the Site Specific Risk Assessment not be completed, City Council will reconsider the request to commence construction.
A youth non resident fee of $100.00 will be implemented immediately.
The concept and design for the Donor Wall at the Regional Recreation Centre developed by Perkins + Will was accepted.
