On the West Side of Owen Sound along 10th street, the Sunset Strip accounts for 23% of the retail space in Owen Sound.

Recently, Galaxy Cinemas constructed a 7-theatre complex on the site of a former shopping centre. A large NO FRILLS store, a new Giant Tiger store, and several smaller retailers share the location.
